Easy Cross Reference Guide

To assist you in finding the right replacement thermostat, we’ve created a simple cross-reference guide. If you have a part number found in one of the series listed below, match it to our part number. For more information, call us or visit our online store.

Benefits of Choosing Tempro

  • NEMA 4X rated enclosures: Protects the thermostat against wet or corrosive outdoor environments. Meets N.E.C. 547
    requirements.
  • Variety of Options: Available in various temperature ranges, sensing probes, and designed for heating and cooling in outdoor and/or agricultural applications.
  • Stocked and shipped directly from Eau Claire, WI, making it a more available option than competitors.
  • Universal replacement option for current models in the marketplace.
  • Private labeling available

Tempro’s Quality Commitment:

  • Same bolt pattern as competitor models. Tempro terminals use # 10 screws with larger ring connectors @ 0.38” diameter for better conductivity. PECO uses # 4 and Honeywell uses # 8 screws.
  • Tempro uses an “O Ring” seal between base and main housing for a consistent repeatable seal. PECO uses glue which is subject to inconsistency leading to possible leaks for glue drips.
  • More robust than competitor models. Copper spring is 62% greater cross section than PECO, and same as Honeywell. Contacts are 97% larger than PECO, 63% larger than Honeywell.

Applications

Tempro’s agricultural rated line voltage thermostats are ideal for use in settings for controlling heating, cooling and refrigeration equipment.
